Macrinus, 217-218. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.66 g, 7 h), Rome, March-June 218. IMP C M OPEL SEV MACRINVS AVG Laureate and draped bust of Macrinus with long beard to right, seen from behind. Rev. P M TR P II COS P P Annona standing front, head to left, holding grain ears in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left; at feet to left, modius containing grain ears. BMC 47. Clay Issue 3. Cohen 47 corr. (Annona not Abundantia). RIC 26. Beautifully toned. The obverse struck from a slightly worn die, otherwise, extremely fine.
